PAC-CI Program Executive Management: The third meeting of the PRISME-CI Strategic Steering Committee and the most recent executive board meeting were among the activities scheduled for the end of 2024.

The week of December 2–6, 2024, was quite busy for the PAC-CI Program Executive Board. On December 2, 2024, it held the third meeting of the PRISME-CI Strategic Steering Committee in the Thérèse N’DRI-YOMAN Room.

This important meeting was attended, on behalf of Côte d’Ivoire, by the President of PRISME-CI, Prof. Thérèse N’DRI-YOMAN, along with Prof. Aboudramane BAMBA, Director of Research (DR) at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS), Dr. Raoul MOH, Executive Director of the PAC-CI and PRISME-CI Programs; Prof. Patrick Coffie, Scientific Director of the PAC-CI and PRISME-CI Programs; Mr. Adoulaye CISSE, CFO of the PAC-CI and PRISME-CI Programs, and Dr. Anani BADJE, Chief Operating Officer of the PAC-CI and PRISME-CI Programs; and for France, representatives from ANRS-MIE, the University of Bordeaux, IRD, and INSERM.

This provided an opportunity for the President of PRISME-CI, the Executive Board, and their national—including the DR, representative of the MESRS—as well as their international partners—to review the PAC-CI Program’s 2024 scientific activities, discuss research prospects for 2025, the 2025 projected budget, and potential avenues for collaboration with the MESRS.

The following day, December 3, through December 6, 2024, the PAC-CI Program’s final Executive Board meeting took place in Assinie, a seaside town in southeastern Côte d’Ivoire. The meeting brought together members of the Executive Board, the Project Managers’ Coordinator, and the heads of the HR, IT, Accounting, Logistics, and Communications and Resource Mobilization divisions.

On the agenda for this executive board meeting were a review of activities by department and the development of the PAC-CI Program’s Strategic Plan for the 2025–2029 period.
