The week of December 2–6, 2024, was a busy one for the PAC-CI Program Executive Board. On December 2, 2024, it held the third meeting of the PRISME-CI Strategic Steering Committee in the Thérèse N’DRI-YOMAN Room.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders in Côte d’Ivoire, including PRISME-CI Chair Prof. Thérèse N’DRI-YOMAN, Prof. Aboudramane BAMBA, Director of Research (DR) at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MESRS), Dr. Raoul MOH, PAC-CI and PRISME-CI Executive Director, Prof. Patrick Coffie, PAC-CI and PRISME-CI Scientific Director, Mr. Adoulaye CISSE, PAC-CI and PRISME-CI Finance and Administration Director (DAF), and Dr. Anani BADJE, PAC-CI and PRISME-CI Operations Director. French partners included representatives from ANRS-MIE, the University of Bordeaux, IRD, and INSERM.

The meeting provided an opportunity for the PRISME-CI Chair, the Executive Board, and their national partners—including the DR representing MESRS—and international partners to review PAC-CI’s 2024 scientific activities, discuss 2025 research priorities, the 2025 draft budget, and potential collaboration pathways with MESRS.

The following day, December 3, through December 6, 2024, the final PAC-CI Board meeting took place in Assinie, a coastal town in southeastern Côte d’Ivoire. It brought together members of the Executive Board, the Head of Project Leads, and the Heads of the Human Resources, IT, Accounting, Logistics, and Communication and Resource Mobilization Divisions.

The agenda included a review of divisional activity reports and the development of the PAC-CI Strategic Plan for 2025–2029.
