Policy Notes

The “PAC-CI Policy Briefs” are short documents written in simple language. Their purpose is to make our research findings more accessible to decision-makers and practitioners (particularly those in Côte d’Ivoire). They serve as a simple tool to help transform the knowledge generated into concrete actions that benefit the population. These briefs were produced following the training on knowledge transfer that Christian Dagenais (Renard Team) provided to PAC-CI staff in November 2021.

As part of the formation of the Ivorian Coalition for the Fight Against Cervical Cancer (COL-CC) (see link to the training news item) and in collaboration with experts in knowledge transfer, the PAC-CI Program has developed policy briefs based on research findings on cervical cancer. These briefs are intended to inform and strengthen their advocacy efforts, based on scientific evidence.

At the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in order to provide real-time information to policymakers and field workers, policy briefs were produced as part of the APHRO-COV project (link). These briefs present the results of the survey on knowledge, attitudes, and practices (KAP) related to the COVID-19 pandemic among physicians in Burkina Faso (September 2020–February 2021).
