The 24th International AIDS Conference, AIDS 2022, was held from July 29 to August 2, 2022, in Montreal, Canada. The theme was “Re-engage and Follow the Science.”
The PACCI PROGRAM was represented at the conference by its Executive Director, Dr. Raoul Moh. He participated in high-level scientific sessions focusing in particular on the latest developments in HIV/AIDS treatment and prevention, comorbidities and their management, and especially aging with HIV.
This provided an opportunity for enriching meetings and working sessions with, notably, the Director of the ANRS, the Technical Director of the “Major Pandemics” unit within the Health Department of Expertise France/Initiative 5%, partners from ISPED and IRD in France, as well as researchers from the Global South, to continue implementing transformative and innovative multi-country projects.
One of Pacci’s researchers, Dr. Nouaman Marcellin, presented an e-poster on the prevalence and incidence of sexually transmitted infections among sex workers in San Pedro.
