The 24th International AIDS Conference, AIDS 2022, took place from July 29 to August 2, 2022, in Montreal, Canada. The theme was “Re-engage and follow the science.”
The PAC-CI PROGRAM was represented there by its Executive Director, Dr. Raoul Moh. He participated in high-level scientific sessions focusing notably on the latest therapeutic and preventive developments in HIV/AIDS, comorbidities and their management, and particularly aging with HIV.
This was an opportunity for productive meetings and working sessions with, among others, the Director of ANRS, the Technical Director of the “Major Pandemics” unit within the Health Department of Expertise France/5% Initiative, partners from ISPED and IRD in France, as well as researchers from the Global South, to continue setting up innovative, multi-country structuring projects.
One of PAC-CI’s researchers, Dr. Nouaman Marcellin, presented an e-poster on the prevalence and incidence of sexually transmitted infections among sex workers in San Pedro.
