PAC-CI / PRISME-CI’s Scientific Days, held on February 2 and 3, 2026 in Abidjan, were a resounding success, marked by strong stakeholder engagement, the richness of scientific exchanges, and the high quality of presentations.

Under the theme “30 Years of Health Research: Assessment, Innovations, and Outlook”, this edition brought together researchers, clinicians, policymakers, technical partners, and institutional stakeholders to address major public health issues, including HIV, noncommunicable diseases, viral hepatitis, and tuberculosis. The presentations and panels provided a comprehensive scientific assessment, shared innovative findings, and outlined promising directions for research and health improvement in Côte d’Ivoire.

The high caliber of speakers, both national and international, was widely praised. Their contributions fostered constructive debates, practical experience-sharing, and actionable recommendations, reinforcing the central role of research in shaping health policies and practices.

These Scientific Days also served as a celebration of PAC-CI’s 30-year history, marking three decades of commitment to research and public health. The event concluded with a gala dinner, a convivial gathering of partners and key stakeholders to honor this milestone.

Hosted at the Radisson Blu Hotel Abidjan, the PAC-CI / PRISME-CI Scientific Days 2026 reaffirmed their status as a premier scientific event, actively contributing to the advancement of health research in Côte d’Ivoire and the broader subregion.
