The PAC-CI / PRISME-CI Scientific Days, held on February 2 and 3, 2026 in Abidjan, were a resounding success, marked by the strong engagement of stakeholders, the richness of scientific exchanges, and the high quality of presentations.

Under the theme “30 Years of Health Research: Achievements, Innovations, and Future Prospects”, this edition brought together researchers, clinicians, policymakers, technical and institutional partners to address major public health issues, including HIV, noncommunicable diseases, viral hepatitis, and tuberculosis. The presentations and panel discussions provided a comprehensive scientific review, highlighted innovative results, and outlined promising directions for research and health improvement in Côte d’Ivoire.

The high caliber of speakers, both national and international, was widely praised. Their contributions fostered constructive debates, shared practical experiences, and generated actionable recommendations, underscoring the central role of research in shaping health policies and practices.

These Scientific Days also served as a celebration of the 30th anniversary of the PAC-CI Programme, marking three decades of dedication to research and public health. The event concluded with a gala dinner, a convivial gathering that brought together partners and key stakeholders to honor this historic milestone.

Hosted at the Radisson Blu Hotel Abidjan, the PAC-CI / PRISME-CI Scientific Days 2026 reaffirmed their status as a premier scientific event, actively contributing to the advancement of health research in Côte d’Ivoire and the West African subregion.
