Secondary Objectives
Secondary objective 1: To assess the prevalence of HIV infection in the study population.
Secondary objective 2: To assess the prevalence of primary and secondary resistance (particularly MDR and XDR) to antituberculosis drugs and the associated risk factors, notably by analyzing the results for the subgroup of patients hospitalized in the CAT ward at MACA.

A cross-sectional study of long-term inmates, incarcerated women, and inmates in the tuberculosis ward at MACA, aimed at estimating the prevalence of pulmonary tuberculosis among inmates. It will help improve the prevention and management of tuberculosis and TB/HIV coinfection in prisons in Côte d’Ivoire.
